Greetings Earthlings,
Thanks to you select few who have chosen to receive this newsletter - it means a great deal to me and I wouldn’t keep doing it if it weren’t for you. I also want to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to new subscribers. For those of you who may not know or are new to this publication, I am endeavoring to keep this to a regular monthly issue on or about the 24th of each month. Apologies and thanks for your patience with this one being a few days late. My son had surgery and we were helping him recover for about 10 days. I am excited to share some new content and some news about my upcoming book, I will be releasing soon on Amazon Kindle as an e-book. Otherwise, all is good and I hope you are doing well.

Book News
I would like to reveal that my book about my lifelong experiences of the strange and weird, including possible abduction, otherworldly contact, and UFO sightings, is currently being formatted and planned for an August release on Amazon Kindle. Hoepfully I can get a link up soon for the pre-order. The plan is to be an e-book first and later on a paperback version will be available. I have a few great reviews included and I also have a cover designed. The description I’d like to share here to see what you think. My memoir is “3:43 AM - Awakenings of an Experiencer”.
Book Description
3:43 AM is a time that Tim Kaney will never forget. It signifies a transformational period in his life of strange events. As he strived to live a normal life, the abnormal kept beckoning him for attention. UFOs, nightmares, lucid dreams, possible alien contact, and synchronicities showed up too often to ignore and have been the foundation of his questioning the reality we live in.
Tim Kaney investigates his own experiences to see if they can be explained away but keeps being routed to an avenue with the name of “Maybe?” Bizarre and traumatic moments in his life are recounted here and offered has guideposts for others traveling along their own journey of self-discovery and reflection. The truth is revealed to be odder than fiction at times in this riveting, first-hand account of otherworldly contact and high-strangeness.
Focused on a chronological narrative leading him into this field of research and investigation in South Central Wisconsin, Tim Kaney debuts as both author and UFO researcher in this self-published title bound to transfix and enlighten.
This deeply personal memoir is a message, warning, and invitation all in one. Tim Kaney invites the reader to acknowledge their weird and look into the dark depths of humanity to find out what goes on when and where we are not always willing to look.
I will share more details as they become available!

Recent Personal Experiences
One night recently, I was walking to my son’s room to tell him something or holler at him for yet other things. I was walking towards his door to his room and as I did, I thought I will have to open the door to his room. Duh! Of course, I would if it was closed. For some reason, it just seemed normal to think that at the time. As I am walking and as that thought was completed, I heard a click and witnessed his door open! It was all at once in a split second. The thought, the noise, the door opening! I froze in my tracks, and my son had to come from somewhere else in his room to look at the door being open. He looked at it and then looked at me down the hall, not at his door. We both stared in amazement with mouths wide open. We both agree we did not know how that could have happened. Not only that, but we tried recreating the door opening on its own. We failed each time. I thought maybe it was the floor moving and causing the door to open or air current. They did not seem to be at play. The door had been slightly latched and would require more force to have moved. What would have caused the door to move on its own? Was it the thought of needing the door open? Could it be that there was another entity knowing we needed this to happen and helped out? Paranormal theories might proclaim this a case of telekinesis. Very strange indeed!
Later a few weeks after this we were playing pickle ball for the first time ever at a local court where we live. The courts are surrounded by a 7 or 8 foot tall chain link fence with a heavy fence door and latch. It was my two sons and myself playing, and I took the far side of our court. We were between servers and goofing around as we were getting used to the in and outs of the game. Our court was closest to the chain link door. At one point, we were all quiet as I was about to serve. We both heard a huge squeal of metal and watched as the door swung partway open! No one was there and nothing had hit it. There was a small breeze, but it was not strong enough to move a door like that. Again, we tried recreating the event, but we couldn’t get it to fall open on its own. Either it was too heavy when mostly closed and swung easily when we left it mostly open. Where it was when it happened never moved. Were there other elements at work? Is there something we might have missed in our exploration? Could something otherworldly have caused the door to swing open on its own? Likely we will never know!
Upcoming Features
A portion of Gloria Hass’ upcoming book - Disclosure From the Galactic Realm - will feature a conversation we had via Facebook about an experience I had and a session of hypnotherapy. We talked about what happened, something involving my nose, finding out I had a deviated septum, and how it has impacted my life. After a few attempts at asking about it, I got some input and so did she. It seems I had been handled by fairly ‘green’ grays and they messed up a bit. You’ll have to pre-order her book and read to get the full story!

A couple of weeks prior to this, I had a call with author, musician, and UFO researcher Mike Fiorito. He is the author of For All We Know, Mescalito Riding His White Horse, Falling from Trees, The Hated Ones, Sleeping with Fishes, Call Me Guido, Freud’s Haberdashery Habits, and Hallucinating Huxley. His writing has won several awards. For his upcoming project, we discussed how sound has featured in my experiences of the strange and weird. It wasn’t until he asked me this question that I ever thought about that. He asked me to send a few lines of my thoughts to include in his book on the topic, set to release later this year or early 2025. Please find below an excerpt for your enjoyment:
‘Music is responsible for my friend and I witnessing a cat die. Let me explain: about the time we were in middle school, we were doing kid stuff on his old Toshiba PC, hunkered down deep in his basement which was carpeted in blood-red shag. Suddenly, a horrible scuffle rang out behind us. We spun around and saw his cat in the throes of a terrible fit, flailing about. I ran to the animal’s aid. It had stopped moving, and I placed my ear to its chest. The heartbeat was light and slow. My friend was frozen in his chair. I relayed what I heard. Listening again to the heart revealed a lack of thump-thump. Shocked, I told my friend my suspicion. One more time listening, confirmed it was no longer in the land of the living. And now to the point: we both dropped our jaws when we realized what was playing on his computer. Metallica’s “Die Die Die my Darling” was the soundtrack of that poor cat's death. Our minds were always puzzled over that. We speculated as kids would that music killed his cat.’

World UFO Day
July 2nd is a day globally reckognized as the official day to celebrate UFOs. This came to be by the World UFO Day Organization. Many had celebrated it on June 24th previously when Kenneth Arnold first wrote about his experiences seeing those fables craft which flew like saucers skipping over water. Today, people all over the world celebrate on the day of the historical crash at Roswell. This is celebration of the topic of ufology, alien encounters, otherworldly contact, and just plain weird experiences and synchonocities. Many folks have parties, some host skywatch events, and some cities host full-on festivals. It is a time to start conversation on the possibility of us not being alone in the universe, share experiences, and celebrate all things related to UFOs. A local city near where I live actually hosts a fall UFO Day in honor of its own historic sighting. One year, my Mom and I snuck into the parade dressed up as aliens.
Historical Sampling From the Center for
UFO Studies
Here is a recent set of postings on the Facebook account of the Center for UFO Studies. I thought these were great reports written briefly and contained interesting visuals. Hopefully you all enjoy these as much as I did. You can follow them here.
July 28, 1952. According to the United Press, the Air Defense Command has alerted jet interceptor pilots to take off instantly in pursuit of any flying saucers. The International News Service amplifies this by quoting the Air Force that orders have been issued to shoot them down if they refuse to land. USAF Director of Operations Gen. Roger M. Ramey issues an ambiguous public denial that the interceptors have been ordered to shoot down any saucers. However, USAF Deputy Press Officer Lt. Col. Moncel A. Monts states that “jet pilots are, and have been, under orders to investigate unidentified objects and to shoot them down if they can’t talk them down.”
July 25, 1983. 5:15 a.m. Tom Jackson is getting ready for work in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, when he sees a bright light outside his bathroom window. He opens it and sees a huge object hovering above pine trees about 750 feet away. It is metallic gray, possibly 300 feet long, and elongated but with the front and back ends dropping down. It has two rows of evenly spaced windows. After 5 minutes it moves toward the town’s sewage plant. Other residents report a brilliant orange light over the sewage plant. Still others hear a loud, high-pitched sound so intense that it causes headaches and disturbs neighborhood dogs.
July 27, 1952. 10:40 a.m. Bowling Green State University biologist Charles H. Otis sees a “flotilla” of UFOs “seemingly floating along, making no sound” at 3724 Dexter Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He grabs a pair of 5x binoculars and studies them until they disappear. He counts 15 of them in a loose formation, moving slowly. One object leaves the formation and disappears in a burst of speed. The body of each seems to be elongated but split at the rear. A bright glow is visible in the front, and they have a bifurcated tail streaming out horizontally, never changing in length.
July 19, 1965. 5:30 p.m. Denis Crowe, an aircraft artist, is strolling along a beach at Vaucluse, New South Wales, Australia, when he encounters a glowing disc resting on legs. It is about 20 feet in diameter and 9 feet high. The top and bottom are silver gray and the rim in between is glowing greenish-blue. A hollow area at the very top seems to be a glass dome. There are no windows or antennae. Dogs in the neighborhood all bark at it. When Crowe is 50–60 feet from the object, it takes off with a sound like air forced from a balloon. He watches it for about 10 seconds until it disappears into the clouds. After the object takes off, the dogs are strangely silent.
July 21, 1977. 4:15 a.m. Deputy Sheriff John W. Bruner and his partner, Officer John Coogler, are parked at the intersection of Ford Road and Loop 494 in Porter, Texas, when they see a bright, pulsating white light less than a mile away to the east. They shine a searchlight on the object, and it reacts by moving toward them. It goes back to its original position after they turn the light off. They watch the object for 45 minutes as it alternately hovers, pulsates, moves at incredible speeds, and flies erratically.
As you may have noticed, this publication is still in hybrid format and very much experimental. While it is still in its fluid stage, I wish to invite anyone with experiences of the strange and weird to reach out and share for inclusion in this publication.
My goal is to reach 100 subscribers and then offer paid content. Please share and like in your networks. Thanks!
