Book News
“3:43 AM - Awakenings of an Experiencer” - my memoir - is now available in Hardcover. However, due to Amazon’s required minimum prices, it is on the pricier side, holding at $49.99. That said, it is also meant to be a premium print-on-demand edition with glossy page and premium color images on the interior. The paperback edition is $17.99 and the e-book is free with Kindle Unlimited or $5.99 otherwise. So far it is going well on sales and I hope to ramp up the pace of spreading the word. If you do get a copy, I would appreciate an honest review!

Dismembered Cicadas Zombies
If you are like us, we are hearing so many loud buzzing insects outside on hot afternoons. We have found so many cicada exoskeletons on and around our trees in our front yard and our backyard also. That’s not the strange part. One afternoon recently, we found many lifeless, winged bodies of these flying invertebrates. What was interesting, if not weird, was how they were found. Many appeared to have dropped directly onto our driveway, either from the tree limbs or right from the air. I think we found 5 or so. Here is the interesting part. A few were missing the gooey insides of their abdomens. All but one I think were found missing their heads. It looked like they had just fallen off, as there were no obvious signs of damage to the rest of the body, and no guts or liquid left inside at all. See pics below for details. One was still twitching with its head still intact.
The kids and I lobbed around many ideas on what happened. We even saw one being attacked by wasps, but they could not get into the outer shell of the winged beast. We figured it wasn’t them who were responsible. Then I remembered some horrific science news articles on zombie ants and the video game The Last of Us. A quick google search revealed that the same thing can commonly happen with cicadas. They can get a fungal infection that turns their rear ends into fungal plugs. This is just one theory, of course, as we did not see any fungal spores on these poor saps.
This CNN.com article about this phenomenon is a must-read and very fascinating. A true case of reality is stranger than fiction.

Cool Cloud Formation
From time to time I like to take the family on a drive in the country after dinner to see the sunset and to use it as a means to calm down. While out driving, we caught a glimpse of a cool cloud formation. It reminded me of the profile of the Superstar Destroyer from Star Wars. This was outside Wuanakee and DeForest, WI, off of Schumacher Road.
Blackhawks Low Flyover
While out tending to our plants one afternoon, we were in our front yard when we heard the loud echo of helicopters. Normally, we would not be shocked by this. We live near the local airport and our house lies right under most approach vectors for aircraft. It also is home to the Air National Guard, so we are used to military helicopters and aircraft flying over. That said, this event seemed a bit odd. As you’ll see in the video I share, we count five black hawk helicopters flying really low over our neighborhood. What’s more, these helicopters did not show up on FlightRadar24, so were not broadcasting ADSB.
Rain Out of Nowhere
Another afternoon we were out in the front yard, we came out to a sunny front yard. We looked up and saw only a few white clouds but a lot of blue sky. Even so, we saw we were receiving a sprinkling of rain! It seemed to come out of nowhere. I know there are some weather events that can act like this with rain coming from another location, but it seemed very different. It also ended with a glitch in my camera, which I thought was very strange. Later I concluded it was a POSSIBLE disruption caused by the IR beam from our trail cam pointed up at the sky.
Mysterious Light Caught on Trail Camera

I use a trail camera on trees pointed towards our yard to see what animals are out and about, and also for human reasons. Caught this image of a strange light in the sky and thought it was worth sharing. I provided the image prior on the 12th and then the image with the light in the sky only 1 minute later but on the 15th. There were no other images taken to analyze. I know it isn’t much to go on, but there is something about it that seems more than a lens flare, seems too bright to be the moon, and can’t make out distance properly.
NUFORC Reports
NUFORC Reported 519 new reports on their databank. This covers all types of UFOs. Here in Wisconsin, we had 4 new ones.
This publication is still in hybrid format and very much experimental. While it is still in its fluid stage, I wish to invite anyone with experiences of the strange and weird to reach out and share for inclusion in this publication.
