Happy Halloween!

This is my favorite time of year and I hope you all are set up to have a spooky, scary, fun Halloween. Maybe it is because I knew darkness from an early age or I am just wired this way, I have always loved trick or treating, dressing up gruesome costumes, seeing haunting decorations, and having a reason to walk up and down the crisp fall streets with my friends. As an adult, we love carving pumpkins as a family, trick or treating, and decorating. This year I made a fun display of a skeleton vomiting into a toxic waste bucket with a set up of water fountain pump, light, and air pump with a healthy dose of UV paint and a UV light.

I debated on what I will include in the newsletter as things have been slow on some fronts for me - the few rabbit holes I am looking into.

There are a few hot topics in the UFO world and otherwise. Most are sensationalism for click and subscriber draw. So not sure if they are worth addressing.

In either case, I am motivated to keep going and give a decent go for Halloween.

From fringe to mainstream, I hope you all are staying safe and had a great October.

GATE Rabbit Hole Update - Part 5

GATE research update: no calls, letters, or email updates. For the items not covered under the Privacy Act, I was not aware I could go check the status. I did, and it reads ‘Initial Processing’ as its current status. The website did remind visitors that due to the Government Shutdown, FOIA requests received after September 29th would not be processed until the government reopens. So, I am thinking that my request is also held up at this point. I shall keep you all updated.

Two Strange Things at Home

Spooky Trimmer

We got this trimmer for our son a few weeks ago. It worked just fine the first few times we tried it. One day, our son said it didn’t work anymore. We tried it and didn’t work. So, thinking it wasn’t charged, I plugged it in. We tried again the other day and it still didn’t work. I set it down at the table as we ate lunch. My wife and I were startled as the darn thing suddenly buzzed to life! It was about 3 to 5 minutes later. No one was near it. Nothing touched it. It didn’t fall or shift. It just suddenly turned on. We turned it off and looked at each other. It was wild. The best part about it? It now works fine normally and turns on and off as intended.

Half Maple Tree Color Change

Before you all react, I’m sure there is a scientific, biological reasonable explanation for this. If there is, though, I wasn’t able to find one that fits. As you can see in the photos, this is a maple tree with fall colors. The catch? One side is different from the other in almost exactly half of the tree, from the base of the branches in to the midpoint on the tree. Very strange to us. We have lived here since 2018. We don’t recall ever seeing this tree do this before. The side that is darker is the south or sun side. The lighter side is the north of shade side. What I read said that can happen, but the effect should be reversed, it sounded like. Color me intrigued.

Story Updates from September

Buga Sphere

Not a lot here. The Dr. I emailed never responded. Many people are detractors. Many zealots call it the second coming. I am somewhere in between. It seems like an interesting artifact. But the internet is oddly mum on any further scientific data that has been shared. The only thing I know of is a small article on the object that states the sphere was being examined and researched by Jack Osbourne for a docuseries premiering next year. In it, they document Language expert Agnese Sartori’s recent findings, as she interpreted the inscriptions as possibly containing a warning about humanity’s ability to either end all life on Earth or save it. That may be reductive, but you can read for yourself here. Why do I not count this as big? Well, she even says that the findings are ‘her interpretation’ and I feel they need more verification to confirm. Also, there is this: it is not the first time that the phenomenon has had experts come forward and tell the world that humans should mind his P’s and Q’s or else. It is a dead message. No cataclysm that UFO demagogues have heralded as yet have come to life. I do question a method like this that, if real, were meant to prevent a civilization-ending event from any hyper-advanced race of beings. It would be like us writing a message on a rock and throwing said rock into a panda pen in a zoo, warning them not to eat poisonous berries. No notice it was there. No alarm, bell, or notification. Not in a language they understand. No translation guide. Not really helpful as it is vague and does not point out where the bad fruits are. And if we really cared about prevention, I’d think we would be down in there ourselves helping the poor pandas avoid the fruit. Why aren’t we seeing that? I would love to see the translation work that she used to arrive at that conclusion, and the comparison to old texts. They likely should wait for the docuseries to come out to relay this, so the quotes can be shown in context. If you read carefully, it is clear she might be imparting some of her own beliefs onto the interpretation. However, that said, it does resonate with lots of the dogma of modern greater consciousness and interconnectedness philosophy and theory. So, maybe she is on to something?

Hellfire Missile Strike of Alleged UFO

I could not find a lot of latest news on this topic. There is one article out there that hints at the video not showing us what we think it is. However, the article is behind a paywall on Popular Mechanics. So far, I don’t see any news or articles on other experts or witnesses coming forward. I’ll keep looking…

3i/Atlas No Longer Visible

Avi Loeb has the latest on the interstellar object 3i/Atlas. If I read his article right (linked above in the Weird News section), the object should either disintegrate and vanish before it reemerges from the other side of the sun (it is currently at perihelion) OR it will emerge intact and be on its merry way after having deposited micro-probes into the solar system, according to his theory. Microprobes, he says, that would be expditionary and / or meant for invasion. The latter of which means we’ll know by then if it is a manufactured object. Additionally, there is some additional evidence of it being an engineered object as he mentions - and he is not the only one - that there is a known abundance of nickel in it’s compositional make-up. I can’t source those findings, but if true, that means it is similar to heat shielding of our modern rockets and spacecraft. All things being equal, the absolute silence and lack of news or information on the object from sources like NASA leaves the door open for wild speculation.

Update: Avi Loeb wrote another article just a few hours ago on how it has been observed to be turning brightly blue, rather then what he calls an expected ‘reddening’ of itself at this point along it’s path. Here is the article link.

Avi seems convinced to rile the scientific community and the social media world into a frenzy to consider this as not truly expected normal behavior for a standard comet.

Also important to note - his article does talk about an observation of what looks like non-gravitational acceleration. However, he states, it is not enough to bring the object closer to any solar system planet here in our neck of the woods. Read ‘It did not change its course to come closer to Earth’.

Experiencer Nexus

Nexus is that which surrounds us, binds us, and connects all of us. It’s literal meaning is that a ‘nexus’ is a connection between two or more things. I am debating with myself if it makes sense to have a permanent segment in the newsletter dedicated to content about the contact / sighting / abduction experience.

From here on out, I will be looking for stories, news, or connections I have heard of that make the experiencer journey more illustrative for all.

NUFORC Update

In a post on the NUFORC website dated October 18th, the organization shares they have updated their gallery page with 68 new images from reports of UFOs.

Their databank appears to have added 451 new reports throughout October 2025.

ON THIS DAY IN 1956. October 29, 1956. Howard Menger, a sign painter from High Bridge, New Jersey, goes public on the Long John Nebel show on WOR-AM in New York City with a story of his contacts with “Aryan-type” Venusians in spaceships.

ON THIS DAY IN 1958. October 28, 1958. 7:55 p.m. Jean Boyer is driving on Route Nationale 75 along the valley of Le Grand Buëch river near a cliff formation called Pont-la-Dame about 5.6 miles northeast of Aspres-sur-Buëch, Hautes-Alpes, France. He notices a luminous disc, like two plates together, motionless in the sky above Pont-la-Dame.

ON THIS DAY IN 1967. October 27, 1967. 3:00 a.m. A waitress driving home in Parshall, North Dakota, sees a large, round, revolving object with alternating triangular areas of coloration.

ON THIS DATE IN 1953. October 16, 1953. 4:00–4:30 p.m. Emerson “Slim” F. Morris watches a large, cigar-shaped object as it approaches Brigantine, New Jersey, from over the Atlantic Ocean.

ON THIS DAY IN 1943. October 14, 1943. Around 2:45 p.m. A group of B-17s from the 384th Bombardment Group commanded by George Warren Harris Jr. is engaged in a bombing mission on ball bearing factories in Schweinfurt, Bavaria, Germany.
