"the weird crying of a seal"
September, 2025
WI, USA, Earth
Howdy Weirdos,
Illness continued well into September and only now is relenting. It has really gotten to me this time and I am not feeling the usual zeal with which I write. I apologize if things feel a little off this month.
A bit has gone down in the world of the strange and weird, especially with regards to UFOs, UAPs, and the like. I will take a small crack at some items and leave others up to the experts. There is a feeling in the air, in my opinion, we seem to be at the precipice of a place bordering our global ‘known’ world and that of the ‘unknown’ so many of us ‘experiencers’ have known and survived for our entire lives.
So we’ve had a Congressional Hearing on the UFO topic, reactions to the videos released in that hearing, and some news about possible life on other planets.
Now, let’s get weird!

GATE Rabbit Hole Update - Part 4
GATE research update: I had not heard from the CIA on my FOIA request nor had I gotten a letter stating it might have been denied or that corrections need to be made before continuing. While that is the case, I have had a lot more phone calls that no one answers when I pick up. I have taken to screening most calls now and if they are real people needing to get in touch with me they can leave a voicemail.
9/25/25: I have called the CIA’s FOIA office. There was no answer and I had to leave a voicemail. I will let you all know if I hear back in future updates.
9-29-25: I just received an email that the CIA received the request and offered a partial response. For a little over half of my direct questions, they mentioned they will be assigning a case manager. That is good news. Furthermore, my rewrite proved successful as they did not reject any outright as written. We’ll see where this takes us, huh?
Analysis of Hellfire Missile Striking Object
A few weeks ago, House Representatives held a public Oversight Hearing on the topic of UAPs. In it, witnesses offered testimony of their personal experiences, proclomations of coverups, and accusations of reprisals and targeting of whistleblowers. Members questioned and demanded knowledge of the information being kept hidden and called for accountability for programs considered ‘Above Top Secret’. A video of a drone strike on a UAP was also provided by an anonymous source to Representative Eric Burlison, a Missouri Republican. You can see the video below:
Video of Missile Strike via Space.comThe message given to the group - and to the public - was that it was a video of a real UAP taking a hit from a Hellfire missile and continuing on its way, seemingly unharmed or, at least ,still intact and functional.
Here is a link to Lockheed’s minisite on the missile: https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products/hellfire.html.
There was a lot of talk and people taking it at face value. That it s was a UAP that survives getting shot at by a very advanced military weapon and keeps going. I want to try and break it down to what I see and what I have learned about those different things.
Report of it being a ‘Glowing Orb’. That image, and video, is that of what appears to be IR, or Infrared, laser designation targeting systems from the drone. If it is an object is within the cross-hairs of the IR targeting system, that very likely means it is also being targeted by the IR laser targeting system. You can see the object being tracked very tightly in the first portion of the video. That tells me that the laser is on top of or hitting the target, if there is a laser beam involved. If that is the case, by the very nature of the targeting system, it will have a portion or all of it, depending on its size, that is brighter and seems to glow than the surrounding image. That, and if you watch when the alleged missile comes into frame, it, too, appears to glow. Could this be due to the missiles own radiant heat, which is also seen as a bright glow in these types of imaging systems? This notion of it being unique for its glow is not really a notable attribute, in my opinion, and we all should be careful to minimize the sensationalization of these types of erroneous headlines. And ‘orb’? Sure, categorically, it is shaped like an one. I suspect if we saw it with our naked eyes it would not be glowing at all, perhaps reflecting light, but not truly glowing.
Size comparison. If we look at the object and the missile the moment they meet, it seems they are very similar in size. We can’t attribute this to difference in distances from the camera since the object clearly do connect. I learned the Hellfire missile is about 64 inches long, 7 inches in diameter, with a 13 inch wingspan. Not all that large, right? If this were an interdimensional / space craft meant to carry a crew of even one being, it would be much bigger than that size. At this size, it is more likely some kind of probe, drone, or other airborne object we might be more accustomed to. Perhaps it is the nature of the imaging, but the missile is seemingly really wide, so much so that at times it seems squarish. The size comparison I am proposing here rules out many larger aircraft, both terrestrial and non-terrestrial in nature. Moreover, I question if that is truly the missile we are told it is due to the rations of proportions. Maybe it is a matter of perspective warping the object while in motion.
Apparent Speed. Giving credit whre credit is due: my Uncle brough this point to me attention. There is a lot going on in the video that makes the object appear to go fast over the water. There is a drone high above at a decent angle, tracking the object at a seemingly high speed. The waves under the object are speeding by. Then, the missile comes into frame in such a way we have several seconds of seeing it fly and course correct and then fly off. Research of the Hellfire missile tells us it is capable of speeds of up to Mach 1.3 (995 mph; 1,601 km/h). Moreover, it is meant to close the distance as close as possible so attempts to reach max speed and is not really known for slowing down or adjusting speed while in flight. If you have ever seen videos of these missiles hitting stationary targets on the ground, you notice a stark difference. We typically don’t see the missile for long, if at all. The speed it uses to close the distance between target and itself is just too much. We might see a small speck and then the impact and explosion. But, rarely do we see it in all frames through the whole video. Compare that with how the waves are visible and the distance between their crests is fairly large. If that is the case, the objects are likely not moving at extremely high speeds. I begin to question if that really is a Hellfire missile. Or, was the video slowed down? If we had better visibility of the instrument readings along the edge of the screen, we might be able to better assess the speed. If you look closely, it does look like there is a MPH read-out. But I do not know if that is the target object or the drone. In either case, you can even see that it is 90-some miles per hour and less. At the end of the video, I think I can see it going to 64 miles per hour. Not high speeds at all.
Shakiness of Video. If you look closely, the text readouts on the edges of the screen appear to shake and wobble often. Just enough to give the object an appearance of strange movement. That tells me it is a video being recorded by someone with their hand holding a phone or camera of a video being played on a screen. If we had the original with all the readouts in view, I think we’d have more information.
The Impact / Missile Strike. I think the first thing to note is the moment the object and the missile meet in the video. We are told that the object ‘survives’ or ‘shrugs off’ the impact of the missile. That would tell me that trained individuals watched the video and confirmed a good hit and that should mean a missile detonation with expected destruction of the target. The biggest thing I noted here is that the missile neither explodes nor destroys the targeted object. Instead, it appears to make contact with and minorly disrupt the flight path of the object. Then, it seems several pieces of either the missile or the object break off and continue flying. Then, shortly after that, the video goes haywire, goes blank for a frame or two, then we see a zoomed out view of what looks like the same object continuing to fly onward without much impairment. Let’s really look at this. For the explosion issue: the research I did confirmed what I thought. One of two scenarios were at play; either the missile did not detonate but was supposed to, or it did not detonate and wasn’t supposed to. What? Well, most of the time, we would expect the missile to explode on impact if it was a standard explosive warhead. However, the mechanics of these warheads are such that they do require a certain amount of pressure / force of impact in order to trigger that detonation of the warhead. If that didn’t happen in the case it was a fragmentation or explosive warhead, that means either it malfunctioned OR the target was too soft to trigger it. If we are being led to believe it was a solid object capable of space flight, we might expect it to be more solid and an actual detonation to be seen in the video. Now, if the missile was the kinetic type, which are designed NOT to explode and have high-impact slicing blades that open near the target, we might expect what is seen on the video. No explosion, but several chunks of something are seen being broken off.
Here is a link to an image explaining how the R9X works: https://dims.apnews.com/dims4/default/dde1c00/2147483647/strip/true/crop/612x474+0+0/resize/612x474!/format/webp/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fstorage.googleapis.com%2Fafs-prod%2Fmedia%2F76c91cfd84a4448288799c99afa6a84e%2F612.jpeg.
Here’s a longer video explaining how the R9X works:Here is another thing to consider: around that time, it is rumored that Israeli Mossad and CIA were partnered in the region to target Houthi assets in the region, which included shooting down UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) used to target commercial shipping vessels in the area. Isn’t this more likely that we are seeing a video of this type of activity? Or even training for that activity?
Maybe the video was fed to congress by either an unscrupulous individual or by a disinformation asset to undermine credibility of the public group? In fact, it seemed Knapp and company never saw this exact video and so couldn’t comment on it’s validity very well.
What things are capable of floating, flying, and looks like a glowing orb on these type of images? My guess would be some type of reflective targeting balloon.
Post-impact Behavior of ‘Orb’. The narrative is that this ‘orb’ shakes off the direct hit of this advance missile and keeps going with keeping it’s shape or something like that. Pieces seem to come off of it and I argue if that qualifies as ‘keeping it’s shape’. They do seem to continue their motion and basic positioning. However, if you play close attention, the object itself has quite a major disruption in speed and course. That, and if you look closely at the object, you’ll notice something peculiar. Not only does it’s shape seem to change rapidly, it seems to wobble and tumble over itself or an invisible axis. It seems more like an amorphous or softer object which has just been deflated and is working on staying aloft. And, if you look closer during this, it seems like it drifts one direction. But, if you take into account the vantage point of the tracking drone, it might actually be that we are seeing this object lose altitude and get closer to the water’s surface with a bit of forward motion also. I think we can say the same for the pieces. Also, I would expect scattering and erratic movement of the fragments only if the object had been subject to an explosive force at impact.
Zoomed Out View. Simply put, we don’t know if the objects in the zoomed in and zoomed out views are the same, even if we are told they are. It appears the video goes dark for 1 or 2 frames then we see it again zoomed out. If we are seeing the same object, it does seem either it or the tracking drone slows down. We don’t see the object leave frame, get lost to tracking, or hit the water. Ultimately, we don’t see the fate of the object. So, can we really say it survives? I doubt that.
Cost of Missile. Research shows that the 2021 average per unit cost of these missiles is $150,000 USD. Need I say more? Would we blindly fire one at an object of truly unknown origin, especially if it is off mission scope? What military leader would be willing to take that kind of heat and paperwork for green-lighting such a strike?
In the end, I don’t think this video shows what we are told it does. At the very least, we would need to verify many more pieces of it before we can fully evaluate it. One the upside, I did read a full analysis of the video is currently being made. And, at the very least, I invite you to look at this with more discerning eyes before buying into it. Take these observation into account and decide for yourselves. While I am not a hard-baked skeptic, I do believe in being pragmatic and realistic when presented with potentially historic video proof of these typse of craft. I invite you to take a look also and let me know your thoughts.
We do hear Knapp and the Rep. exchange speculative comments and exclamatories like, “What the hell is that?” and I get that other videos exist like this and they did not have this video and wonder what it is.
I do truly believe other more convincing videos that are harder to explain exist. But this one? I have my doubts. I may be wrong on some aspects, but my gut calls ‘foul’ on this one.
Buga Sphere News
On the more esoteric side of the phenomenon we have news on the ‘Bugas Sphere’ - named after the ‘Buga, Colombia’ in which it was found in March 2025. If you are just joining and don’ know much about it, it is a metallic sphere of unknown origins which is reported to have ‘crash-landed in fields of Buga after striking high-voltage power lines. It is covered in enigmatic markings that look like ancient Olmec hieroglyphics. Dr. Steven Greer recently announced that Carbon-14 dating revealed that resins found to be inside the object dated to about 12,400 BC. That is old. I guess this is part of the Dryas Era when the last Ice Age was just ending.
I did end up emailing Dr. Hadden to confirm the test results. No response as of yet…
Let’s peel this apart real quick. Let’s just say this is a real, unknown object. If it is real, and the resin came from inside, that does not mean the object was made back then. It could have material inside, but might have been created at a different time. The test result actually says ‘12560 BP’, which, if I am reading it right, actually means, ‘before 1950’. So I will wait to hear from the lab to confirm the results meaning.
If this is true, it is unclear what it means, but, in theory, it is a piece of evidence to support the Ancient Aliens theory. Something created in ancient times of advanced technological characteristics from a people not of this world.
Here is a more detailed article on the sphere as a whole: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/etimes/trending/buga-metallic-sphere-claimed-to-be-of-alien-origin-is-responding-to-sanskrit-chants-as-per-viral-video/articleshow/123087619.cms
There is a lot of chatter online that the object is a fake as many claim the claims of the proponents can’t be verified. However, the claims of opponents are similarly unable to be verified.
So, where do we stand? Only time will tell…
Connections
Recently, I saw a post in a social media group that someone had written an account of their experience with paranormal events and abduction type encounters with non-human entities. They were asking if anyone would be willing to read their PDF format eBook and if people wanted to talk about it. I volunteered and was blown away by the parallels of my own experiences. From childhood to adulthood, it read similar to my story. There are stark differences for sure, but many are so similar. Not only that, this person grew up in the same state of the U.S. as me. Also, they are about the same age. And there experiences more or less added up to the same or similar conclusions as my own. The writer told me they watched one of my podcasts and were moved by our story’s similarities. We chatted via Facebook and we exchanged so much that I felt very moved and could relate to their experience. It helped validate what we both went through.
This is not the first time something like this happened since coming forward with my own story. Everytime it is no less shocking. I believe less and less in coincidence. And each time it reminds me of there being something going on beyond our understanding.
This is another piece of the puzzle that supports the theory I have of ‘Experiencer Nexus’, or simply the connection between people and their experiences, ourselves, these entities, and the greater reality. Often these are people who have never met in real life, but, upon seeing or hearing each others’ stories, might have a spark of anomalous recognition, deep connection, or event emotional bond, sometimes described as a type of soul connection.
If anyone is interested in the story, let me know via message and I can connect you all.
3I/Atlas Needs a Diet?
Avi Loeb released a new article on the space object 3I/Atlas on Medium. In it, he describes new astronomical observations and data show that it is likely an unusually large and massive object based on its unique lack of declaration from out-gassing on the Sun-facing, warmed side. He notes for that to occur, it would need to be extremely huge and heavy…perhaps, ‘supermassive’.

Special Mention: Offering condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Meldrum. he was an American anthropologist with a lot of street credit when it comes to hunting relic humanoid hominids. He passed recently and I was very saddened by that. I never met him in person no did we know each other personally. I looked up to his critical eye he brought to the field of cryptozoology yet remained a staunch believer of the existence of such a creature based on the evidence he had collected, studied, and catalogued. I have watched and followed him for years. Hopefully, we will find a suitable successor to take up his reigns as we keep moving closer to a reveal. We will miss you. I felt like he was a remote, accidental mentor to me.
